OKU Football Enters First Week of Fall Camp
Fall practice starts up this week, and the Oklahoma Union Cougars are gearing up for another season.
A season ago, OKU finished with just one win during a season filled with injuries. The Cougars had about a third of their team out with injuries at one point midway through the season, testing the team's depth.
Throughout this offseason, OKU has emphasized a day-by-day approach by building a foundation and gaining experience through the offseason. The Cougars will play in two scrimmages before their first regular season game in September.
After not competing in any passing league competitions this summer, the scrimmages later this month will be their first action against another team.
With kickoff approaching in a month, Middleton talks about the excitement level.
OKU opens their season at home for Drumright on Sept. 4.
