Offseason Bruin Volleyball Going Well
We told you over the weekend that Bartlesville High volleyball had some outstanding performers at the club level last week.
The trio of Emry Brown, Marissa DeMuth and Rya Christiansen made some waves with their club team out of Tulsa. In the 17-and-under division their AAU team called Ultimate Performance took second out of nearly 150 teams in Orlando, Florida.
Andrew Blaine took over the Bruin volleyball program this past winter. He was a multi-year assistant of former head volleyball coach Jennifer Ward, who stepped away from coaching and has moved out of state.
Blaine talks about those main returners and a bit about offseason volleyball.
Volleyball will be the first team going for BHS this fall, with actual games starting in mid-August.
Practices will start sometime in the next couple of weeks, with the season wrapping up in October.
