Nowata Tennis Rolling This Spring
Nowata tennis has been busy this spring, with both the boys and girls teams showing positive results.
Both teams got their seasons started in a tournament in Miami back in March, where the girls team took home five consolation championships. Since then, Nowata has been busy in tournaments in Grove, Pryor and most recently in Bristow.
Ryan Walton placed fifth in singles 1 out in Grove. Out in Bristow earlier this week, Walton along with his doubles partner, Adrian O'Dell, came in fourth in doubles 1. Brett Malone excelled in singles play in Bristow, he came in second in singles 2 competition.
On the girls side, it was Kaylee Bashford winning consolation in singles 2.
Nowata tennis will know their regional assignment at the end of next week.
