Nowata set for showdown with Pawnee Friday
Nowata football has won three games in a row and are currently in a playoff position at 3-0 in A1 District 3 play and 3-4 overall. The Ironmen are coming off of their bye and have their toughest test to date against against a Pawnee team that is 4-0 in District play. Nowata Head Coach Chance Juby says the bye gave his team a chance to heal up and get a head start on preparation for Pawnee.
Nowata now has an opportunity to knock-off a Pawnee team beat Quapaw 68-0 last week, Juby explains some of the keys of the game for the Ironmen.
Nowata at Tonkawa will start at 7 pm on Friday.
