Nowata Football Prepares for Scrimmage in Ketchum

Nowata Ironmen football is into their first full week of padded practice with the season opener less than 10 days away.
The Ironmen will look pick up where they left off last season, after making the playoffs for the first time in five years with an experienced bunch. The 2025 Ironmen lose some of that experience and get younger this coming fall.
First on the docket before the Ironmen go for real is a scrimmage with Ketchum and Hulbert on Friday in Ketchum. Head coach Chance Juby said he's looking for intensity out of the scrimmage.
Nowata opens the season the following week on the road in Pawhuska in a zero week matchup. In a tough district that features Pawhuska, Pawnee and others, Juby talked about the uncertanties of the district matchups.
