Nowata Football Looks to Fill Position Groups
Nowata Football is finishing up summer workouts before they can officially start practices on August 7th. For the Ironmen, they have some momentum coming off a season that saw them win a game for the first time since 2019 and have a young coach who is only in his second season with the program.
One of the biggest items for Head Coach Chance Juby to address are the open spots that are up for grabs. The way summer workouts can go is that it can play as a determining factor of who ends up grabbing a starting spot in the fall. Juby talks about some guys that have shown good flashes this summer.
Other than the veteran guys that Juby mentions, there are some other open position battles as well. Juby talks about some other players to watch for.
Nowata will try to get revenge from last year in game one this year when they go on the road to Chelsea top open the season on August 25th.
