Nowata Football Heads Into Home Opener
Nowata football returns on Friday night, as the Ironmen are looking for their first win of the season.
Nowata fell in their season opener on the road against Pawhuska, 60-12.
Despite the lopsided result, head coach Chance Juby said his team never stopped fighting.
On Friday night, the Ironmen come home for the first time this fall and take on Warner. A season ago, the Ironmen fell on the road to Warner, 32-28. This is Warner's first game of the season, following a 7-3 season a year ago. Despite the record, Warner did not make the playoffs.
Juby talked about Warner's athletic ability.
