Lampton Inducted into Girls Coaches Hall of Fame
Pawhuska girls basketball coach David Lampton has been inducted into the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Lampton has amassed 600 career wins while coaching at Oklahoma Union, Fairland and Pawhuska.
Lampton has been to the state tournament on four occasions and won it in 1997 with Oklahoma Union. Lampton just finished his first year at Pawhuska, going 22-7 and finishing a game short of making it back to the state tournament.
