Lady Mustangs Fall Short in RCB Winter Invitational Championship
The Oologah-Talala Lady Mustangs came up just short in the championship game of the RCB Winter Invitational, falling to Pryor by a final score of 41-40. The one-point loss was a tough way to close out the tournament, but the Lady Mustangs will look to use the experience as a learning opportunity moving forward.
Head coach Clif Warford said the team plans to grow from the setback, noting they will learn from the game and continue to put in the work. With the tournament now behind them, the focus quickly shifts to the next challenge.
Oologah-Talala returns to action this evening against Skiatook. Warford described the Bulldogs as a solid team and a conference opponent, making tonight’s matchup an important one for the Lady Mustangs.
