Lady Bruins Excel to Host Regional

We are one day away from Bartlesville High softball getting back into 6A postseason action. BHS hosts a Regional starting on Wednesday afternoon.

It was a grind for Bartlesville to get to this point. The Lady Bruins were under the gun to finish second in the District and had to win crucial games to host.

Head coach Kyle Minton says playing in high leverage games down the stretch of the season should help his team now that the postseason has started. 

Bartlesville clenched the home Regional with a win over Sapulpa just over a week ago. However, it was a game against Yukon that BHS won 7-1 earlier in the week that put the Lady Bruins in a spot to host.

Minton talks about how BHS clenched the home playoff games.

Bartlesville will kick things off against Putnam City North on Wednesday at noon. Enid and Sapulpa are the other two teams in the four-team double-elimination pod.
