Jenks AD Clay Martin to Ref NFC Championship Game

Clay Martin will be the referee for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams.

Martin, 50, will make his first appearance in a conference title game after previously officiating wild-card and divisional playoff games this season. The assignment is a point of pride for Northeastern Oklahoma, as Martin is also the athletic director at Jenks High School.

Born in Pensacola and raised in Tulsa, Martin joined the NFL as an official in 2015 and was promoted to referee in 2018. He spent 17 seasons as Jenks’ head boys’ basketball coach before moving into the AD role in 2024.

The NFC title game is set for 6:40 p.m. ET Sunday in Seattle.
