Indians Set for DBAT League Tourney Tuesday

Bartlesville’s summer baseball team is back at it again on Tuesday night. The Doenges Toyota Indians begin another tournament.
Bartlesville has played nine games in the past eight days, and the Indians will play one more game Tuesday with a few more over the course of the week in Oklahoma City.
It is the DBAT League Tournament. Bartlesville enters the event as the No. 3 seed after regular season league play wrapped up last week.
The Indians are coming off one of their most successful weekends of the summer. Bartlesville won its own Glen Winget Tournament on Sunday evening. The second time in as many seasons the program took home the crown.
The Tribe played in front of some of the biggest crowds of the year at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium over the past two weeks. First year manager Tony Osborne talks about what makes this summer baseball program unique.
The Winget went off without a hitch for the 67th straight year in downtown Bartlesville. It was 21 games downtown over a four-day span, which included the only major public fireworks display in town this past weekend.
Osborne talks about putting on the tournament.
The Indians play at 6:30 on Tuesday evening against United Ag and Turf from Palmer Field in OKC. The DBAT League event is a single-elimination tournament. A loss would knock Bartlesville out of contention in the event.
We will have the game for you Tuesday evening on KWON and KWONTV.com.
