Indians Leaving for Mountain Home

The Doenges Ford Indians are getting set for their annual trip to Mountain Home, Arkansas.

The Tribe leaves for the Natural State on Wednesday afternoon.

Bartlesville enters the event at 11-3, one of the best starts through 14 games in the past decade of Indians baseball.

The Indians have done it with good an on-base percentage and outstanding pitching.

Bartlesville has a .458 on-base-percentage. A clip that is nearly 100 points higher than a year ago. Meanwhile Indian pitching has a team-ERA of 2.39. Teams are only batting .191 against Bartlesville pitchers this summer, both outstanding numbers.

A 3:15 first pitch on Thursday afternoon in game one of the event against Mountain Home-MacLeod, the AA Legion program.

We will carry that game on Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM – KPGM along with KWONTV.com.
