Bartlesville’s summer baseball team is back in action today, as the Doenges Ford Indians begin one of their more important weekends of the summer.

Bartlesville kicks off play in the Mountain Home, Arkansas Twin Lakes Classic. This is the fourth straight year the Tribe have been in the tournament. Bartlesville has performed well, going 6-3 in pool play the past three years, but only has one appearance in the championship round to show for it.

The Indians played for the title in 2021 but lost in the championship game.

Indians start things off at 3:15 against North Central.

The team arrived in Arkansas last night and will play single games today, tomorrow and Saturday with the top four teams of the tournament making the semifinals on Sunday afternoon and evening.

The 3:15 game today can be heard on Sports Talk 99.1 FM and 1500 AM – KPGM. Video coverage on KWONTV.com. We will have coverage all weekend long - you can find the full tournament schedule for the Indians online with this story at BartlesvilleRadio.com – and over the past few stories, as well.

Bartlesville enters its second trip to Arkansas at 11-3 on the season.
