The Doenges Ford Indians struggled Thursday night against the collegiate league OK Lookout as Bartlesville fell in the twin bill 5-1 and 8-1. Game one had its interesting moments and started off with the Indians giving up one run in three of the first four innings.

Jaxon Zaun was the lone run scorer for Doenges in game one as he smartly played a passed ball to skip in for the run.

Nik Johnson was the only other Indian to grab a hit in game one. Grant Clark would get the loss on the mound going six innings and giving up four earned runs. Clark also grabbed four strikeouts.

Game two went a bit differently and got out of hand much quicker for Bartlesville. The Lookout did almost all of their damage in the third and fourth innings, using Indian errors (5) to help grab an early 7-0 lead through three innings.

The bright spot came from Luke Fox in game two as he absolutely belted an rbi triple to score the Indians only run in the nightcapper.

Brendan Asher led the way in the box score in game two, going 2-4 and scoring the only run of the night. Head Coach John Pannel and company implemented a pitcher by committee tactic and game two, as five Indians toed the slab.

Eli and Matthew Winters, Zane Stricklin, Nik Johnson, and Trey Bennett combined for five walks, 10 hits, six earned runs and two strikeouts. Indians have now lost three-in-a-row and fall to 13-7. Bartlesville will be back in action next Wednesday at home for a double header.
