Indians Baseball in Legion State
We finally have some more summer baseball back on the radio and KWONTV.com on Thursday afternoon, as the Doenges Toyota Indians are getting going with their final weekend of the summer.
Bartlesville travels to Ada early Thursday morning for their opening game in the Oklahoma State Legion Tournament. Bartlesville will be sorted into the winner’s or loser’s bracket based on how the Indians do this afternoon against McCloud.
The Indians stand at 20 wins entering the event. It has been an average summer as far as game load goes for the Tribe, with the first tournament game marking the 34th game of the summer.
The Tribe will have to rely on some of their younger players this weekend. Many of the soon-to-be college freshman from Dewey will make up the core of the team available to play at Legion State due to age constraints.
