Huskies Prepare for Stretch Run of Season
The Pawhuska Huskies are coming down to the stretch run of their season, as they only have two regular season games remaining before district play starts next Friday at Tonkawa. On Friday night, Pawhuska travels to Dewey, in hopes of sweeping the Bulldoggers after getting a 56-30 win in early January.
Pawhuska stands at 10-10 on the season, having won back-to-back games by a combined 11 points. One of those games came in overtime. Coach Jason Snodgrass hopes that his team is hitting their stride at the right time.
As Snodgrass mentioned, district assignments have been handed out. The Huskies will play at Tonkawa next Friday, but he says they are still using a one game at a time mentality.
