Huskies Prep for Districts at Tonkawa

Pawhuska travels to Tonkawa on Friday night in hopes of starting the 2024 playoffs out on the right foot when they face the Buccaneers in a district matchup.

Both Pawhuska teams have had a difficult schedule, so while the boys sit at only a game above .500, Coach Jason Snodgrass believes that these past few months have prepared his team for the most important time of the year.

The Lady Huskies made it all the way to the Class 2A state semifinals last year and with a 17-6 record entering the 2024 postseason, a roller coaster ride is probably the best way to describe what the season has been so far. Starting the stretch run of the season, everyone is healthy though and Coach David Cash said it is all about hitting your stride at the right time, something he believes his team is doing right now.

Pawhuska's game at Tonkawa tips off at 6 p.m. Coverage can be heard on 99.1 FM KPGM and audio will be available on KPGMTV.com.
