Huskies Host 7-on-7 Tournament

The Pawhuska Huskies wrapped up their Truity Credit Union 7-on-7 shootout Friday in an event that ran from 8:30 a.m. until about 5 p.m. This event hosted many schools including Rejoice Christian, Watonga, Salina, Pocola, Pawnee, Perry, Mount St. Mary, and Blackwell.

The Huskies had a good showing, going undefeated through pool play and getting all the way to the championship before losing to Rejoice. Head Coach Matt Hennessy shares his thoughts on the event.

The Huskies now shift their focus to finishing out the summer until official practices get started in about four weeks.
