Hopkins Grabs Head Coaching Gig

A former BHS Lady Bruin golf standout is getting a big-time job in the Show Me State.

Faith Hopkins, who played collegiately at Oklahoma State and Missouri State has gotten the head coaching job at Drury.

DU VP and Athletic Director Nyla Milleson made the announcement on Wednesday.

Hopkins spent this past season as an assistant at Evangel University on both the women’s and men’s programs.

Hopkins was a 2018 BHS graduate, best known locally for her 6A individual state championship at Hillcrest Country Club as a senior. She was a four-time state qualifier as a Lady Bruin.
