High School Playoffs This week Class B - 4A
It is officially playoff basketball week for most high schools across our area.
Here is a look at a few local teams:
In 4A, Dewey will face Vinita for the right to take on Catoosa in Area IV. Bulldogger’s game against Vinita will be an elimination contest.
Nowata will travel to Colcord for the Ironmen’s District on Friday night at 7:30 in 2A Area IV.
Pawhuska goes to Tonkawa for its District on Friday night at 7:30 in 2A Area II. The games for the Ironmen and Huskies are non-elimination games.
Wesleyan Christian School faces Timberlake in the Class B Regionals on Thursday night at 7:30 at Covington Douglas. WCS won its District over Welch 55-21. Win on Thursday and the Mustangs would be assured to make Area win or lose in a Regional title game on Saturday night.
The teams opposite WCS-Timberlake are Frontier and Kremlin-Hillsdale, who play the late game on Thursday.
