It hopefully won’t be long before Jakob Hall is making his way to Fort Myers, Florida to get set for his professional career.

It was a bit more than a week ago when the former Bruin and Indian was picked in the eighth round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Minnesota Twins.

Hall was a four-year Bruin and a two-year Doenges Ford Indian. He chose to play his college baseball only 50-minutes away at Oral Roberts.

Hall says Bartlesville has been a vital part of his journey to professional baseball.

Hall and his dad came back to multiple Indian games this summer, while also going to a few Bruin games in the Tulsa area during ORU’s season.

Jakob talks about coming back to where he came from.

Hall’s draft pick was worth a signing bonus of more than $207,000.

Once Hall comes to an agreement with the Twins he will head to Fort Myers for workouts and then some of his first games as a professional.
