Eric Morris Introduced as Head Cowboy Coach

Oklahoma State officially announced its next football coach yesterday afternoon in Stillwater. Cowboy head coach Eric Morris took the podium to talk about his vision for the Pokes.

Morris comes to Oklahoma State following an 11-1 season at North Texas, the best record in program history. He was named American Athletic Conference coach of the year last week.

The American was a conference which also supplied coaches to Florida, Auburn and Arkansas this offseason, none of those coaches won as many games as Morris and the Mean Green.

Morris talks about his thoughts on football at OK-State. 

North Texas was a top-five team in the country in yards-per-game and points-per-game this past season. 

This is only the second head coach for Oklahoma State since 2005, as Mike Gundy spent 21 seasons in Stillwater before getting fired in Week 3 of this past season.
