Dewey Football Getting in Summer Work

Oklahoma high school football is now into the dog days of summer as most schools are participating summer pride workouts along with other passing leagues, camps, etc.

For Dewey, they’ve been participating in the passing league in Pawhuska that takes place every Tuesday to get some sort of live reps in over the summer. Bulldogger Head Coach Ryan Richardson talks about how things have gone up to this point this summer.

With summer in full swing, and it being almost halfway through August, that means the mandatory OSSAA dead period is approaching during the first week of July.

Richardson talks about what else he’d like to see from his guys before that get to that point in the schedule.

The Bulldoggers will continue participating in passing leagues and summer workouts until official practices can return in August. We will have more on Dewey and other local and area high schools over the next few months.
