Dewey Basketball Nearing Tip-Off
High school basketball season will be here soon, so with that we take a look at one team whose season starts up in three weeks.
The Dewey Bulldoggers are one of just a few high school teams to open their season before Thanksgiving break, but Dewey is set to open things up on the road against Oklahoma Union.
Head coach Lance Knight talked about the offseason for his group.
Last season, the Bulldoggers went 13-13 overall and 4-4 in the Northeast Valley Conference. They won a district championship in the 3A playoffs before their season came to a close in Adair in the regional consolation rounds.
After a season where Dewey had a little trouble finishing some games, Knight talked about his team getting out of their own head.
Dewey opens their season on the road at Oklahoma Union on Nov. 21. Coverage can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG and KRIGTV.com.
