Dewey Bulldogger baseball will host a regional to begin the 3A postseason this year after finishing in the top two in their district.

The Bulldoggers enter postseason week with an overall record of 25-7. They finished district play 12-2, tied with Metro Christian in overall record. Dewey lost the tiebreaker for the district title due to district run differential.

Joining Dewey's regional is Westville, Hugo and Beggs. Westville enters the postseason with a record of 0-22, Hugo is 6-27, Beggs is 16-11. Dewey will open regional action against Westville.

Head coach Riley Allen talks about some keys to Dewey's success on the pitching side, using a dominant doubleheader against Keys two weeks ago as an example.

Dewey is slated to open regional action at 11 a.m. on Thursday at home for Westville. Hugo will play Beggs at 1:30 p.m.
