Dewey Bulldogger baseball has the possibility to gain the inside track on winning a district championship this week with two crucial games starting Monday against Sperry.

The Bulldoggers are battling with Metro Christian and Victory Christian for the top spot in the district. A finish in the top two would allow the team to stay at home for the regional tournament.

Dewey has relied on their pitching this season with multiple arms stepping up in big moments. Head coach Riley Allen talks about the team's pitching depth.

The Bulldoggers saw a five-game win streak get snapped on Friday in a 9-8 loss to Oologah. Dewey enters the week with an overall record of 22-6.

Allen talks about the team blocking out the noise this close to the finish line.

Victory and Metro play each other to round out their district schedules this week.

Dewey opens their series with Sperry at home on Monday at 5 p.m.
