DeSalme Talks Start of Bruin BB Practice
Bartlesville High basketball practice has been going on for a bit more than three weeks.
The Bruin girls have had a couple of scrimmages, while the Bruin guys are still working at the high school to get set for outside competition.
First year head coach Tommy DeSalme talks about how practices have gone over the past few weeks.
DeSalme says there is only one senior on the roster this year, Nash Zervas’ sharpshooting will return for another season. There is also a bigger junior class that continues to get better.
However, the freshman class is still turning heads. DeSalme says those younger guys will get a chance to play right away.
First scrimmage for the Bruins is this weekend.
Both teams open their seasons earlier than usual on Nov. 22 at Bruin Field House in a double-header against Ponca City.
