College Hoops Non-Con Winding Down
Had quite a bit of statewide basketball on Monday across Oklahoma.
Tulsa continues its ridiculous early season tear. TU won again at home over Denver in a Monday afternoon matinee at the Reynolds Center. TU topped Denver, 90-85 to get win No. 12 of the season already.
The Golden Hurricane is off to a 12-1 start. Most analytics sites expect Tulsa to be a factor in the American Athletic Conference, which they will begin play on Dec. 31.
Elsewhere, Oklahoma blew out Stetson in Norman on Monday evening. OU won big, 107-54.
So, a blowout win for the Sooners, who still has one more non-conference game before SEC play begins.
OU will next host Mississippi Valley State at 7:00 on Monday night.
ORU lost at home against UT Arlington, 69-58. Golden Eagles are 5-10 throughout the non-conference.
