Caney Valley (OK) Basketball Building Off Win Friday
Caney Valley Trojan basketball is off to a solid start following a blowout win over Mounds on Friday to open the season.
The Trojans dominated in Ramona, 57-24.
Head coach Tug Brinker talked about his team's defense.
Like every team that opened their season before the Thanksgiving break, Caney Valley has an extended time off before their next game. Next up for the Trojans is another home game and a conference game against Nowata.
Brinker talked about the approach for his team during the extended time off.
The Trojans host Nowata on Dec. 2 at Holly Ward Gymnasium. That game can be heard on 104.9 - KRIG and KRIGTV.com.
