The Caney Valley Trojans are coming off the recent mandatory OSSAA dead period imposed for high school athletics and are already back at it. The Trojans have had plenty of work in over the summer with a team camp, team workouts, and team passing leagues in Tulsa.

Head Coach Stephen Mitchell talks about what he and his guys have been up to since spring ball.

The Trojans are looking to bounce back from a tough 1-9 year last year and will have a new look schedule with reclassifications earlier this summer. Underclassmen previously has been leading attendance in the summer’s past, but Mitchell says he is really impressed with the senior leadership he has seen up to this point.

Mitchell talks about some guys that have had good summer.

Still about five week's out from the official start of high school practices in Oklahoma. We will have more on local and area high school football over the next few weeks.
