Caney Valley FB Looks to End Season on High Note
The Caney Valley Trojans are coming to an end in their football season this Friday as they get set to hit the road to battle upper half of the district standings Claremore Sequoyah. For the Trojans this will be their last game of the season as they are still in search of their first win of the season.
This Friday’s game though marks an end to many careers on the Trojan sidelines. Head Coach Stephen Mitchell talks about this year’s senior class.
The Trojans will be facing a tough Eagles team that is coming off a one-point loss to Vinita this past Friday, 14-13. The Eagles are 3-3 in the district and are looking for better position in the playoffs but have to deal with the Trojans first.
Coach Mitchell shared his thoughts on the game with the Eagles this Friday.
Trojans and Eagles kicks off Friday night from Claremore Sequoyah at 7 pm.
