Bartlesville High football has checked off another offseason set of workouts – this time out of state.

The Bruins just had a team camp at Pitt State on Tuesday afternoon – Bartlesville has since returned home. According to head coach Harry Wright, the Bruins completed more than 500 plays against outside competition. All the BHS upperclassmen were there.

Wright says one of the things he enjoys about football this time of year is the ability to go 100-percent and not have to worry about injury.

Wright reported that all the Bruins made it out of spring ball and the team camp in Kansas healthy. BHS was there for three days and stayed in the dorms at Pitt State.

It is now summer workouts for the Bruins, which will begin on Monday of next week.

More on summer pride, which is open to children of many ages, planned for later this week. Kids can go workout for 25 dollars a week.
