Bruin Volleyball and Softball Excelling Early
Bartlesville volleyball and softball both had good weekends, as a busy first seven days of the season have both teams above .500.
Bartlesville softball is 4-2 after going 3-1 during a tournament in Norman this past weekend. The Bruins beat Norman North, Bridge Creek and Noble. BHS also had a loss to 5A Elgin.
The Lady Bruins will have Cleveland and Sapulpa into town for their home opener on Monday. Bartlesville plays Sapulpa at 4:00 followed by Cleveland at 7:00 PM.
Meanwhile Bartlesville volleyball went 5-2 during seven matches at a tournament at Lincoln Christian over the weekend.
BHS notched wins over Lincoln Christian JV, the OKC Storm, Oklahoma Christian School, Bishop McGuiness and McAlester. BHS lost to Lincoln Christian and Bishop McGuiness.
The Lady Bruins are now off to an 8-2 start overall.
Bartlesville volleyball is off today before its home opener against Owasso on Tuesday night.
