Bruin Summer Pride Ends
We have reached the end of summer workouts for many athletes across the area, as some are in between daily summer pride activities and actual practices beginning.
At Bartlesville High, the Bruins had their final day of summer pride on Thursday. This is the second summer there has been an added emphasis on getting athletes of all ages to get involved.
BHS Athletic and Activities Director Thad Dilbeck looks back on this edition of Bruin Summer Pride.
Because it was the final week, Dilbeck says the coaches focused on having fun over the past few days, and says it seems like most were pleased with the results over the past two months.
At BHS, volleyball had its first scrimmage of the summer earlier this week. Softball will have its first scrimmages in the next couple days.
Football and cross-country practice have yet to kick off at BHS.
