Bruin Summer Baseball Wrapped Up
Speaking of summer baseball, Bartlesville High’s summer group had its final two games of their season this week.
Bartlesville got two wins over Skiatook. The Bruins beat the Bulldogs, 14-3 and 16-4. That wraps up the summer play for BHS at 8-6-1 throughout the five weeks of play.
Several different Bruins hit the ball well in the double-header, as eight different guys had two hits apiece, including Cy Rigdon, Jackson Zaun, Liam Buchannan, Bryce Leulf and others.
Sam Marcella had the only significant innings on the mound. He did not give up an earned run in four frames. He struck out 10 and walked none.
BHS baseball will take a couple months off before work begins in earnest in the fall.
