Bruin Hoops Opens Thursday

Bartlesville High’s athletic department stays busy this week, as BHS rolls into basketball on Thursday evening at Bruin Field House.
Just six days after the end of the football season, and with the search for a new football coach on the way, Bartlesville hosts Rejoice Christian for a basketball double-header. This is a non-District double-header. Both teams will take off all of next week before District action begins December 2.
This is also game one for new Bruin boy’s coach Jake Christenson. Christenson comes to BHS from Cushing after getting his start in Osage County earlier in his career.
Bartlesville is dealing with an injury to forward Jordan Turner, but the rest of their young core returns. BHS had only one senior last year on a team that won two games.
Christenson talks about how deep the Bruins will go on Thursday.
Bartlesville will have a handful of newly available players. There will even be some bigger size with a few of those guys.
Christenson talks about difference-makers that fans will see.
