Bruin Hoops Head to Jenks

Bartlesville High basketball back after it for the second time in three days, as the Lady Bruins and Bruins will have another tough double-header on the road at Jenks on Friday night.

Bruin Field House was heartbreak city despite two great efforts from BHS on Wednesday night. The girls lost in overtime while the Bruin guys’ rally from 23 points down fell short against Muskogee.

On the guy’s side, it was another tough lesson for a group of sophomores and seniors who have continued to show progress throughout their seven-win season this winter.

Head coach Jake Christenson says he wants to win now, but he understands that rebuilds with younger players can take some time.

Jenks this evening will be a challenge. The Trojans have started to roll in recent weeks. Jenks is coming off a 15-point win over the same Muskogee team the Bruins lost to on Wednesday.

Christenson talks about the challenge of facing Jenks.

Bartlesville and Jenks with a 6:30 tip on the girl’s side and an 8:00 tip on the guy’s side we’ll have it for you on KWON – AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1.

Video coverage this evening on KWONTV.com.
