Bruin Hoops Excel over The Weekend

Bartlesville High boy’s and girls’ basketball had a heck of a weekend, as both teams went a combined 5-1 in separate tournaments, and now it’s a stretch run before Christmas Break for both teams.
The Bruin guys went 2-1 en route to a fifth-place finish in the Cleveland Tournament this past weekend. The Bruins beat up on Pryor, 66-58 on Saturday to grab their third win of the year. Bartlesville lost Thursday to Metro Christian and beat Sperry on Friday.
It was a 41-point second half that spurred BHS on Saturday.
This three-pointer from Trae Collins added to a Bruin run.
Meanwhile the Lady Bruins went 3-0 during their event in Carthage, Missouri. Bartlesville got a 67-60 overtime win over Bentonville, Arkansas. A 59-28 win over Ft. Smith, Arkansas Southside and a 68-36 win against the host Carthage.
The wins move the Lady Bruins to 4-1 on the year.
Both teams will travel to Muskogee for a double-header on Tuesday evening.
