Bartlesville High boys’ basketball got its seventh win of the season yesterday afternoon, as the Bruins weekend is over at the Will Rogers Invitational.

Bruin guys took care of the host Will Rogers, 87-42.

BHS struggled a bit in the first half but turned it on in the third and fourth quarters. The Bruins scored 47 points in the second half.

Jackon Barta was the hero. He hit five three-pointers in the third quarter.

Barta finished with 18 points, she hit six three-pointers on the night in total.

The Bruins forced turnover after turnover down the stretch. Another BHS steal led to this Jordan Turner bucket in the fourth quarter.

Bartlesville guys improve to 7-10.

The games outside of the title round will not be played on Friday at Will Rogers, so the Bruin boys are done for the weekend. There is a chance they may make up the contests on Wednesday, but that is not officially scheduled.

BHS was slated to take on Wilson-Henryetta in the fifth place game.

Next scheduled game for the Bruins is on Tuesday at home against Muskogee.
