Bartlesville High football makes a longer road trip to Oklahoma City to face Putnam City North in another crucial District matchup for its first Thursday night game of the season.

BHS enters at 0-6 and while there are still four winnable games on the schedule, but time is starting to run out.

Head coach Harry Wright talks about the Thursday night game altering the Bruin’s preparation for the week.

PC North is 2-4, with the Panthers two wins coming against the bottom of 6A-II District II. PC North is under the direction of a first-year head coach and graduated most of their stars off a team that won eight games last fall. The Bruins fell in this game at home last year 23-0.

Wright says Bartlesville must increase its tempo offensively to keep the Panthers unbalanced. He talks about keys for the Bruin offense.

A 6:30 pregame with a 7:00 kick from Oklahoma City Thursday night on KWON - AM 1400, FM 93.3 and 95.1 with video coverage on KWONTV.com.

This is the first of three trips to the OKC metro in the next four weeks for BHS football.
