Bruin Baseball Falls to NOAH

Bartlesville High baseball dropped its second in a row, as the Bruins are trying to get through a brief period without some of their key players.

BHS has lost three of its prospective best hitters since the start of the season, mostly due to injury, although none are expected to miss the entire season.

Bruins fell to Tulsa NOAH on Thursday, 7-0, after BHS beat them 4-3 on the opening day of the season. Bartlesville only managed one hit mixed in with 10 walks and seven strikeouts. BHS committed four errors, which led to five unearned NOAH runs.

Despite a disappointing result on Thursday night, the wins over Sapulpa and NOAH earlier this week prove this team can compete.

Head coach Cody Price talks about the first week until NOAH round two.

Bartlesville is now off until a crucial District series against Broken Arrow, starting on the road on Monday then back home against BA on Tuesday of next week.
