Bruce Munden Named New OKU Football Coach

Bruce Munden has been named the new football coach of the Oklahoma Union Cougars, in announcement made by the school last week.
 
Munden was the head coach at Cordell High School in New Cordell, Oklahoma last season. He made his name in the area as the former head coach of the Barnsdall Panthers.
 
Munden talks about returning home to his roots.
 
Munden is taking the place of Steven Trammell, who was the head coach of the Cougars from 2018 to 2024. Trammell is staying at OKU and will be the school's golf coach.
 
Oklahoma Union finished last season 3-7 overall, but will have lots of young talent on the scene next season.
 
Munden says he wants to set the tone for the program and gave high praise to Trammell.
