BHS Softball Practices Begin
Official practices are going for softball and volleyball across the state of Oklahoma.
Locally, BHS softball is one of only a handful of teams who began practicing this week.
Lady Bruin softball returns basically all but two starters from last season this fall. Bartlesville will try to capture some momentum after making it to slow pitch state in the spring. Isabella Daniels and Lexi Durao headline the returners.
Minton says that with so many girls back there will be a focus on competing early on in July. Although much of this week will be spent on fundamentals.
Minton says he wants to mimic the regular season as much, and as soon, as possible.
Scrimmages will start at the end of next week. Bartlesville’s first official game will be on Aug. 13.
Minton says once BHS gets started it will play four or five days a week through the beginning of October.
