BHS Softball Falls to Choctaw
Bartlesville High softball came close but again was just short in a District battle against Choctaw on Tuesday afternoon.
BHS fell to the Yellowjackets by a single run for the second time this season. Choctaw beat the Bruins, 4-3.
Bartlesville had an early 3-0 lead but failed to capitalize on runners in scoring position later in the game. Both clubs had nine hits and two errors. Kelsie Yales surrendered only one earned run with nine strikeouts and no walks.
Bartlesville is off on Wednesday and back at it toward the end of the week.
