Bartlesville High slow pitch softball is back at it at home on Monday night, as BHS will take on Tahlequah at the softball complex off Madison.

Bartlesville is an even .500 at 6-6, still in the first half of the season.

Lady Bruin slow pitch has been to back-to-back 6A State Tournaments. Head coach Kyle Minton talks about the culture that the softball program has been growing.

Minton said many times graduating seniors will elect to not play slow pitch in the spring. This year, all the BHS seniors are still playing the second season of Bartlesville softball.

This includes Kelsie Yales, who is probably best known for her pitching, but Minton says she’s great in the batter’s box, as well.

A 5:00 first pitch between the Lady Bruins and Tahlequah on Monday. Tahlequah is ranked at No. 12 in 6A, while BHS is No. 9 statewide.
