Best of 2025: Bartlesville Softball Back to State
Bartlesville High softball again was one of the top teams across the area, as the Lady Bruins made both the fast pitch and slow pitch softball State Tournaments in 2025.
Bartlesville hosted its own Regional and advanced to fast pitch state for the second straight season this fall.
BHS fell in extra innings to Mustang by one run.
Bartlesville unfortunately has the distinction of coming super close but not quite getting over the top at State the past two years. Each of the past two seasons the Lady Bruins have lost by one run, in extra innings, to the eventual state champion.
Owasso did the same thing to BHS a year ago. Head coach Kyle Minton talks about his perspective following the loss.
Despite not winning a game in either state tourney, Bartlesville has a good argument that it came as close as anyone to winning the crown the past two years.
Minton talks about just how close Bartlesville came.
Bartlesville won 28 games and will go for its fifth straight state tourney during the slow pitch season this coming spring.
