Bartlesville Tennis Off to Good Start
Bartlesville High tennis is one of the many Bruin spring sports that have been off the past handful of days for spring break.
BHS again began the season at Westmoore two weeks ago – a meet that has opened the year for the Bruins several seasons in a row. It was two second-place finishes at Westmoore for the girls and guys. There are plenty of familiar names and some fresh faces to Bruin tennis again this spring.
Bartlesville head coach Bryan Reese details the BHS roster in 2026.
Abby Shelley is the main returner once again for the Bruins. Shelley was state runner-up last year. Shelley lost only one match all last season.
Reese talks about what this spring looks like for Shelley.
Bartlesville comes out of Spring Break with a quad match at BHS and then will head to Muskogee for another meet on Friday, March 27.
