Bartlesville Tennis Excels in Final Weekend
The last few events of the high school spring sports season wrapped up on Saturday across the state of Oklahoma.
Bartlesville High boys tennis did a great job finishing eighth as a team at 6A State in Oklahoma City.
At No. 1 singles Owen May took fifth at State following his Regional championship four days earlier. That finish made May the consolation champion, he had fought off multiple match points to rally and win a match on Friday that allowed him the fifth-place finish.
May finished 16-5 on the season.
At No. 1 doubles Johnny Colmenero and Carson Covington took ninth. They finished the year at 14-6. At No. 2 doubles, Bash White and Mark Shaw took ninth as well. They finished the year at 10-8.
