Bartlesville Soccer Beats Bixby

Bartlesville High boys’ soccer is officially hot, as the Bruins won their third District match in a row on Tuesday night.

Bartlesville beat Bixby in PKs on the guy’s side at Custer Stadium, 2-1.

Head coach Cedric Muteshi said keeper Klayton Bastings was the hero of the win. Said Bastings made two fantastic saves to preserve the Bruin victory. Austin Bastings and Braxton Decker scored the goals for BHS.

The Bruins are now in a tie for second in 6A District 3 and hold the tiebreaker against the Spartans. Both teams go to Sand Springs tomorrow for another District double-header.

The Lady Bruins lost against Bixby, 7-0.
